Recap – 5th Annual Tech Conference & Hackathon – Plano, Texas

Alhumdulillah, our 5th Annual Tech Conference & Hackathon event have been a great success. Jazak’Allah Khair to everyone for attending the event. In particular, we’re very grateful to the Irving Masjid (ICI) Board & our sponors. It was inspiring to see everyone come out and partake in what we hope becomes a core part of the community – using technology to connect our communities, and to help us engage our Masjids in the future. We are also grateful to all of the volunteers who spent tireless hours to provide the best experience possible.We had over 100+ attendees for Hackathon & Tech Talks – which ranged from an overview on Learn Startups, Blockchain, Artificial intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning, Blockchain, ICOs, and Mining. We also had tremendous participation in the workshop (HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS & Ethereum ERC20 Token ). It was inspiring to see everyone come out and partake in what we hope becomes a core part of the community – using technology to connect our communities, and to help us engage our Masjids in the future. We are also grateful to all of the volunteers who spent tireless hours to provide the best experience possible.
